titash (but we managed to be one of the 8 teams qualified for it (approximately 15 teams during the qualification ^^")... maybe what I did wasn't a good idea... *g*

Commission

Well... I recently ordered a commission at Drechu. I gave him just a few elements :

EF#14 Con report

Tuesday :
10am : Leaving Lille (north of France) for a 7 hours road trip
18am : Arrival at the hotel (20km nearby the EF hotel) for the night (45€ for three again 30€/pers for the EF early arrival).

Wednesday :
9am : Leaving the stage hotel for the EF one.
10am : Taking the key at the reception
10:30am : Taking the conv badge... but I can't have my fursuit badge, they didn't received the photo for it... what a disappointment... I've to take one for the day after and bring it before midday
11:00am : Grub !
11:30am : Video
12am to 5pm : Not a lot of things
5pm : Opening of the conv
5:30pm : Beginning of the Barbecue (and first photo shooting for me in fursuit ... the placard helps I think... glance at the end of the post)
6:15pm : Open Bier, Open Meat, Open all ^^

Thursday :
Preparations for the fursuit game show, Dealer's den, art show, swimming pool, fursuiting

Friday :
12am : Fursuit game show. It's was really one of the most exciting moment of my life. The games where absolutely hilarious. I'm just disappointed that, Grumpfbear (with his Garoo suit) and me, lost during the qualifications. We win the clothespin game (54 at 42) but we lost the magnet one. We have to roll a big dice for decide between the two teams.... 2 vs 5 *sobs*
Even if we were disqualify, it still for me a really great moment
2pm : Shower
5:30pm : Art show ... I have finally got an original of one of my favorite artists... after 1 hour of standing in front of the painting...
6:30pm : Swimming pool and Sauna

Saturday :
Sigs and Events
Wooh... the pawpet show was really an other most exciting moment and the voice... the voice of "Fly" => http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=xxMlll4ZZwQ . *sobs* I cried 2 times during the show ... I'm too sensitive I think...

Sunday :
Time to leave... Just an advice, don't leave a electric icebox in your car more than 2 hours... the battery was just enough to start my car engine ^^'
Travel... it's was boring but... I really like the german motorways with their long slopes and long straight line without speed limitations... A good way to clean your motor with a 180km/h burst of speed ... it's not my fault, I love speed too much... };8

More generally :
2 meal / days :
- Donnuts & Muffins + Coffee
- Hamburger + French fries
The hotel was so great and the resort really beautiful

Anecdote :
We (Me and Lormlr) had slept in the same bed during the conv. It's a 1.80m width one but... well... I think it's not enough for me and an other guy. During a night and my sleep, I pushed him outside the bed and he felt on the floor. When he tried to push me to my side... he couldn't and I grumbled when he tried to recover his place.
*evil laugh*

A wonderful week...

A small update...

Last week, I bought
- a new kite surf board : North Jaime Pro 06

- a new kite : Naish Cult 2 2008 10.5m² (It's the official video from Naish... I have a blue one)

Wednesday :
I brought my car to the mechanic for a big revision and the check up is...disastrous. I have to replace :
- The exhaust collector (piece between the motor and the catalytic converter) => 170€
- The calatytic converter => 250€
- Front wheels => 100€
- The "belt distribution" => 200€
- Labor
=> Finally I'll approximately have to paid 1200€ and I don't have enough money...

Thursday :
Hard choice... I must sell something...
- My new kite ? but... I can't...this one is really much better than my old "Airush Flow 2005"
- My fursuit ? No... never... I can't believe it...

Friday :
After a long discussion with my parents, they accept to help me. Of course I'll have to pay back but it's really a relief.

This week-end :
Actually, I don't know if the repairs will solve the pollution problem, I just hope for that and I'm going to have the answer tomorrow.

Next week :
I need my car for Eurofurence. I leave Lille (north of France) with two furs on Tuesday for a 700km road trip...

Car problem and bike accident... a really good day...

Well...

Problems with my car... after some repairs, it still pollute so it didn't passed the technical supervision for the second time... It's made me really angry.

To calm down, I decided to do some bike on the beach. But I have a bad habit... at one place, I always jump on the sidewalk and continue on it during 10 meters. After this, I return on the road... this time there was a car and... accident...fortunately, the car was only at 25/30 km/h but...

I don't know what to say... it's all my fault and the car isn't really damaged (scratches on the bumper, license plate and one fog lamp) but my bike.. *sobs* totally destroyed ... both wheels twisted , the thread of rear wheel axis exploded and of course... the rear of the frame also twisted.

But no real problem... only scratches on feets, right knee, right fore-arm, rigth shoulder and chin (happy to have a goatee ^^).

Tomorrow, my car returns to the mechanic ... he will change the catalytic converter ... Last week it was a 200€ injection probe... I hope it will be good this time

1. What do you plan to do once your work for school is ~over~ for the summer?
*groans* I have no summer holidays this year ... 3 months training period (16 june to 19 september with 1 week for Eurofurence and 1 or 2 weeks before starting the 5th year of engineering school)

2. Won't you prefer some kind of skirmish wargame instead of RPG? It's full of battle and combat. :P
I like.. no I love Tauren to much so unless there is tauren or minotaur in wargame, I think I will continue to play WoW. But... Starcraft2 ... who knows... I'm a fan of RA & RA2 + Yuri's revenge. So why not SC2 ?

3. If I were to try to develop some kind of video game, would be bale to help me on some stuff, like programs, servers and all? :3
Hmm... 6 or 7 years before, I will have said yes but now, I really don't have enough time but I like the HL characters & CS weapons I had did };8

Next year ... last year of engineering school

03-04 : 1st year => success
04-05 : 2nd year => success
05-06 : 1st 3rd year => failure *sob*
06-07 : 2nd 3rd year => success
07-08 : 4th year => success
08-09 : 5th year => coming soon... success ?

I don't know what to add ...

- I'm currently in a 3 month training period at mittal arcelor dunkerque (biggest steel factory in Europe with 6.7 millions tons of steel / year ).
- Specifications, php, mySQL, Perl ... however, with their security system it's not fun to develop on theirs servers
- The communication staff is too funny and really cool. Two 30min coffee break / day. *Yawns* too much work ^^'
- Finally, the job is well payed compared to the other students .... 1000€/month - taxes ... approximatly 750/800€/month.

After long months of wait, my fursuit is finally finished.
But a wait is substituted by an other ... the package is on the road ... I can't wait, the suit is damn'too cute

- First sortie ? I don't know, probably on Paris with 3 fursuiters or so (maybe Timduru, Grumpfbear, Penpen, DJem,...) .

- EF14 ? Well, I have a 3 months training period and I don't know if I could take one week during August. I'll try but, it's not sure to be at EF14 this year.

- What else ... oh yeah, I'm looking for some accessory ... hat (cow boy .. litteraly..), a boxer (a friend has already decided to offer one... I don't know why but I don't care), Hammer or Axe (of role-playing game), any other idea ?

Halloween... what a wonderful evening,
50 furries or so, 15 fursuiters, I was so glad to be there.
I was the helper of Djem whom had finish his fursuit during the morning.
But unfortunately, during the pause, just after the phantom's train, he decided to stop.
It was it's first outing so, 2 hours is respectable and safer for him.
Finally, only two disappointments ... I was too shy to ask Shay if I could have a photo with him... and I hadn't my fursuit (thanks internet's provider... I really hate you, Numericable)

Halloween... gah... une superbe soirée
Environ 50 furries, 15 fursuiters, j'étais tellement heureux d'être là... depuis le temps que je l'attendais
J'étais le helper de Djem qui avait juste fini sa fursuit dans la matinée
Malheureusement, durant la pause, juste après le train fantome, il a décidé d'arrêté
C'était sa première sortie, donc 2 heures c'est respectable et plus sûr pour lui
Seulement deux déceptions, j'ai été trop timide pour demander à Shay si je pouvais avoir une photo avec lui (bien sur que je pouvais....)... et je n'avais pas ma fursuit (merci Numéricable... je te déteste ! ^^")
